About Us

  • We aim to improve how people work and relate to each other by applying a clear understanding of human behaviour and cognition.

  • We help leaders solve people-related challenges using research and data in ways that are practical, measurable, and tied to performance.

  • We combine Human Factors research with sound business and economic thinking to address real workplace problems, improve how people work together, and show that responsible practice can also deliver strong organisational outcomes.

Megan Blakely is the founder of Dual Task and a recognised thought leader in Human Factors Psychology. She holds a PhD and Master’s degree from the University of Canterbury, where she also lectures in Industrial and Organisational Psychology. Megan regularly publishes in peer-reviewed scientific journals and is passionate about making complex research accessible and relevant to real-world challenges. She recently completed an MBA, adding strategic and commercial expertise to her academic foundation.

Outside of her professional work, Megan is deeply committed to personal growth and resilience. She draws on her background in endurance events and martial arts to stay grounded and focused. However, her greatest accomplishment is raising her children. Helping them grow into kind, capable people in a rapidly changing world is, in her view, the most important and rewarding work she does
